Famous American Women

The Eighth Age girls' classes enjoyed famous American women reports today presented by Gabriella, who was Betsy Ross; Gwen, who was Elizabeth Blackwell; Caroline, who was Rosa Parks; and Grayson, who was Lucy Brewer. Well done, ladies!

Georgia O'Keeffe & Jackie Kennedy

Drue presented her famous American woman report about Georgia O'Keeffe.  The class learned that Ms. O'Keeffe opened the door for other women to become artists. 



Payton presented her famous American woman report about Jackie Kennedy.  She was known as First Lady and wife of John. F. Kennedy.

Our Sixth Grade buddies teamed up with us to make Valentine baby blankets for the Hampden Family Center!
